Our Programs
The
Field
of
Mars
Environmental
Education
Centre
(EEC)
offers
a
range
of
programs
for
NSW
Department
of
Education
and
Training
primary
and
secondary
schools.
Students
can
visit
Field
of
Mars
EEC
and
undertake
activities
at
the
Field
of
Mars
Reserve
or
the
adjoining
Buffalo
Creek
Reserve.
Alternatively,
Field
of
Mars
EEC
staff
can
work
with
students
at
your
school
or
in
a
nearby
area.
Field of Mars EEC programs aim to:
• increase knowledge about and concern for the
environment;
• encourage fieldwork by students; and
• promote environmental education resulting in action
by students for their environment.
Excursions
and
activities
can
be
tailored
to
suit
the
needs
of
your
program,
curriculum,
school
and
students.
Activities
can
run
for
one
lesson,
for
a
whole
day,
or
over
a
series
of
days,
depending
on
your
needs.

the

are
unsuitable,
Field
of
Mars
EEC
staff
can
work
with
you
to
design
a
program
to
suit
your
needs.
